Fellow vegetarians: What exactly is gelatin...?

Hi. Don't worry, you just made a mistake, it's not like you intentionally ate the yogurt knowing what gelatin was. OK, gelatin is crushed-up animal bones and animal cartilage and is used in some yogurts, sweets and mousses. But don't worry, it was a mistake, now you'll know to avoid the yogurt. A vegetarian substitute to gelatin is Agar-Agar or pectin, which is made from fruit. You can buy agar-agar from health food shops. Hope this helped.
