Dinosaur/Thunderbirds-esque kids movie from the 1980s...?

I'm trying to figure out a movie I watched when I was a kid. It was similar to Thunderbirds and Dinosaur! The only thing I can really remember are these silver tanks driving through the jungle. I really wish I had more information than that, but it's been over 20 years since I've seen this film. What is it?
