Building an attached porch, "lean-to-design" need to know air flow solutions.?

It has vents at roof eaves, but no openings in floor or in cinderblock crawl. A hole was knocked out from the house crawl into the porch crawl to access the septic tank. Should I put vents in the floor? or ??????>?
