Does the biological father have to pay child support if signed his obligation away while he entered the Army?

My boyfriend of 4 years had a baby with his ex girlfriend about 5 years ago. He made her PROMISE that if she got pregnant, she would get an abortion. Well, she got pregnant and went ahead and had the baby. After he was born, my boyfriend enlisted in the Army and signed a paper from the court stating that, "He is not the legal guardian and gave up his rights as a parent" of his baby (his ex signed it too). Last summer while he was unemployed the court sent a letter requesting child support from him. He put ZERO income for everything and he never heard from the Court again. We are hearing from the his ex girlfriends stepmother (who is taking care of the baby and who took legal guardianship of the baby) that she wants to seek child support to come after him now since he is currently employed. His exgirlfriend currently pays about $300 or so to child support but he has not and does NOT want to. The promise that she made to him meant everything to him and when the promise was broken, he felt tricked/betrayed into fatherhood. Please help me and give me advice on whether or not he still has to pay child support if the Court comes after him! Thank you.

I have found Colorado Springs, Colorado to be full of the most anti-social people that I've ever been around in my entire life and this especially holds true for the women here. The women that are here act so stuck up, cold, and unfriendly. In the midwestern states such as Missouri and Indiana, and southern states where I'm from, it is the social norm to introduce yourself and strike up conversations with new folks when at college and out in public in general. If you try to do that here, people will look at you like you are crazy or something. Women don't believe in giving men the time of day here in this city and state. They vehemently refuse to make eye contact with men here and, once again, will look at you funny if you smile at them or act the least bit friendly around them. Back home in the southeast, women would smile and talk to me all the time, and would tell me that I am an attractive guy (no, just because I'm from the south doesn't mean that I am overweight or racist). The last time I went back home to visit I happened to stop at a gas station in Kansas and ran into a lady about my age who was very attractive and A PERFECT STRANGER. She actually smiled and said hello and I in turn said hello and asked her the same. That would NEVER and HAS NEVER happened to me in Colorado. So yes, this anti-social behavior that I've noticed here is limited to Colorado. I don't know why this is true. Do you?

Wake up with numness in my whole side when I sleep on my side. It's worse on my right side.?

I'm 20 weeks pregnant today and When I've been waking up for the past week my whole side hurts and is numb. i have been diagnosed w/ panic disorder, but somehow i still cannot shake off the feeling that something is wrong with my body. i am a borderline hypochondriac. ive been on lexapro for about two weeks now so the severity of the attacks has gotten a lot less intense, however i still have frequent episodes where my heart will feel like it is about to jump out of my chest. i also have an irregular rythm here and there where it feels like my heart missed a beat. it is so unpleasant and disturbing. ive been to the ER like 4 times in the past MONTH, they took an EKG, kept it on and monitered my heart for hours at a time, took blood enzyme tests twice, and took a chest xray once, docs said everything was absolutely normal but somehow i am still not convinced that this is all just because of panic disorder. how do i get all this to STOP???

When I wear the appliance, my bottom teeth hit this part of the appliance that makes them go forward. I'm supposed to wear them for about 3-4 months. My concern is that I'm unable pop my jaw out with the appliance in, which I am able to do without. My orthodontist said to keep trying until I am able to. I'm somewhat nervous that if I do manage to pop my jaw out it will get stuck and lock. Also another concern is that when I had my appliance in for a couple of hours, I get like a mini anxiety attack because I feel like there's a need to take it out (which I did.. :/) and tried to pop my jaw in place, which ended up it getting locked and for a couple of seconds before it unlocked When it unlocked my jaw started to click for a few moments. Should I just keep my appliance it and try to ignore my occasional anxiety attacks or should I talk to my orthodontist about it?

Whats wrong with my car?

i have a 2003 ford taurus, 6 Cly, 3.0 HOV with 144,000 miles on it. i recently had some front end work done (tie rods and penger side axle). after the front end work was done my car drove PERFECT except pulling a little because i needed an alignment, of course. i took it in to get the alignment and they said the axle was either bad, the wrong size or the joint in it was bad. they said they tightened it up for me until i could get it back to who did the work and the went ahead with the alignment. well, i go to pick it up and as soon as i got on the interstate driving home, every time i would get up to 60mph the traction control would kick in or when i would turn "too much" to the left. i took it back to the person who did the front end work and they said the axle was fine, and checked everything that has to do with the front end, tightened everything up if needed and went through everything with a fine tooth comb. i got my car back last night and on the way to work this morning it drove like it did after all the work was done before the alignment (minus the pulling). except now when i hit 65mph the TC kicks in again and sometimes when i hit a pothole or a bump (even if not too hard) it sounds like something is loose underneath on the penger side like its going to fall off. i dont know whats going on and if its dangerous to be driving.

If our world is in such crisis and chaos, have their been ideas to consider what may cause this refusal to see central ideals of current life that is to be seen as what should be are taught and is rippled throughout the world as to "control and protect" us as a world of humans living together in a sense of false security and obviously overlooked problems and flaws rooting to considered what should or otherwise seen as the impossible to change,expressed in the phase as "that's life". Is it that the refusal is not seen as important to change in our society's leaders and the confused and non-hopeful accepting persons influences eyes, is it that the problems are not considered as wrong, but as the right way to think. To worship money, work as your are supposed to instructed by the government shall instruct as the only way to achieve a place in life, and follow the laws the have supposedly been believed successful in protecting the people and allowing freedom of the people since the beginning of time, but really why is it that i think that is not so free about it? To be more insightful you have to understand that perception is the key to communication. You need to learn the difference between listening and hearing, hearing what is being said, and hearing what isn't being said. Looking for the lie, watching the body language. Baby always exhausted?

My baby is 6 months old and is always exhsuted, and just screams when tired, its impossible to take her out places as she just goes hyterical when she is tired. I am also trying to wean her but she just screams, I try to feed her as soon as she wakes and after naps but even then she is tired. Are 6 month old babies always this tired? I see other babies at baby cles and they dont seem like this. Any advice how I can build up her energy. Every part of me is tone except my stomach and I feel so self consience. Help with my xbox live connection?

Okay so i have a wireless router with 3 computers and my xbox hooked up to it. we get a wireless internet signal through a tower. Kinda like satellite internet i guess... Everything is hard wired to the router including the xbox. But one computer uses the wireless. I have no problems using the internet on the computers but when i go onto xbox live i play halo 3. It plays fine a lot of the time but probably at least once a match, for a minute or two, it goes to the score screen and says selecting new host (like when someone quits the mach or has a bad connection). Then after a minute or so i come back to life dead like the game continued but i had no connection. I don't know why this happens because it shows i have a great connection. Do you think its possible that the internet just cant send data out fast enough? Or possibly that i'm not using a good enough router for my networking? i'm hoping its the router so im buying a D-Link DGL-4500. I heard its a very good router. If you might have an idea of what the issue might be please help! Anything would help at this point.

Unix Scripting?

I am creating a script that looks for a trigger file. If the trigger file does not arrive in 12 hours, I want the script to exit. What command do I use to do this? I think I don't want it to sleep for 12 hours because it has to look for the trigger. Maybe some Do While, but I don't know how to actually track the time. CRON kicks it off, but it stays alive if the trigger does not arrive. I want it to expire in 12 hours and exit. I obviously do not have a scripting depth, and am just winging it! How do I know when it is time to put my dog down?

I have a 13 year old lab with hip issues. Her hind legs will give away if she is on tile or any sleek surface. She seems to have moor "accidents" than ever and her hearing is not the greatest. But, she eats, goes for short walks (starts panting after 1/2 hour) and sleeps well. Why do only some of my saltwater fish die off?

I have a 150 gal tank. PH is 8, nitrate is 20ppm, nitrite and ammonium are 0. I have two types of shrimp, a sand sifting and a serpent star. Along with 4 different snails and 3 different . All are living creat along with the four different corals I have. I have added fish and some live and some die. My clownfish, Cardinal fish as well as my blet are living well, but I have lost a Jawfish, a foxface, two blennys and a copperbanded erfly (I do have plenty of aiptasia in the tank for it to feed on). I cannot figure ot why these specific fish are dying and why some are not. The lighting is 3 250W MH along with PC and moonlights at night. The temp is between 76 and 81. There is a 55gal refugium. I also have a fluval 404 on the system. In addition, the tank has 100lbs of crushed coral, 200lbs of live sand, 250lbs of live rock and a proteint skimmer. The Ref has 90lbs of fiji mud, 50 lbs of curshed oyster, 50 lbs live rock and a protein skimmer. Any help would be great

I also have a tb and she was sortof underweight when i got her maybe by 100 lbs or so, and by the end of the summer she was very toned and looked beautiful! she had a good diet and i lunged her before i rode her, but trotting also is good because you cna slow down the trot and make them collect and also you can increase the tempo to make them extend. fitness wont happen overnight but it seems to come prettty quickly in horses. just make sure when you start working your horse not to overdo it to quick. i hope i helped

The Check Lint Screen light is flashing, I've checked and the lint screen is clean! What's wrong?

The lights on the panel are all flashing. The check lint screen light is flashing. I've cleaned the lint screen and I've run a dryer vent brush through the machine and through the dryer vent to the outside. Everything is clean. Is there any type of switch or connector that might be dirty that is telling the dryer to check the lint screen?

Aquarium Sand OR Gravel?

I have a 46 gallon tank and I have had gravel for at least 15 years. I want to change over to sand. Only thing is I have some water wysteria, java moss and java fern. Will my wysteria grow in the sand? What are the pro and cons of sand in a tank? i have a large canister filter with alot of biological media so removing the gravel wont do much as only 9 neon tetras are in the tank at the moment. Can I use play sand from Home Depot or is it best to use sand from petsmart.

Computer Turn On But Monitor Stays Black Why?

Bedroom ideas: teenage girl?

Im a teenage girl, and i need to decorate my room. I'm thinking maybe lilac walls, and a couple of twilight posters (or any movies i like). I know that people say that there's no point in painting your bedroom if you are going to put posters on, but it does matter. Go to Macy's and talk with the person at the fragrance counter, they've been my godsend with cologne because I have an extremely perceptive nose, and very strict on what I want. One of my absolute favorites is The One, by Dolce&Gabbana, it has great scent and it's at a fair price. Another that I like is aqua di gio by Armani. Why is my 11 year old sister such a spoiled brat?

Ok so it was my younger sister's eleventh birthday today. Her mom and dad are divorced but our mom still got her A LOT for her special bday. First she went to summer camp. Then she went to tutoring. Then we all went out to dinner at Denny's. She picked what she wanted and said she enjoyed it. We then went to the grocery store to get food. She did not get a birthday cake today because my mom likes to make her own cake (not buy a store-bought one). I know it is not the same to have a birthday cake after your real birthday but still... we still celebrated it! Then we we got home, she got about $100 worth of doo-dads like $20 worth of neon and tye-dyed socks, bff necklace from claire's, tshirt from target, headbands (claire's-neon and black and white with bows) and etc. All girl stuff that she liked. She had this "this-is-it" kind of face after it. We waited 10 minutes and then gave her the grand finale of multi-colored Coach shoes (brand new). These shoes were $90 plus tax which was $100! Yeah a $100 pair of Coach shoes for an 11 year old. Her response was "Wow!" She asked me, "should i cry?" She did not even say thank you to her mom! I mean seriously, if you just received a really expensive and nice present, wouldn't you say "thank you" immediately without "waiting." I had to tell her to say it. All she said was "thanks" with that pathetic voice. I looked at her disgustedly after that. She then was pouting all night afterwards. I asked her why she is so depressed and she said that we were yelling at her (her conseption of "yelling" is skewed because we did not yell at her. We simply takled to her in a normal tone of voice. She always thinks that we yell at her when we tell her something that she doesn't want to hear like she she was wrong.) I told her that I did not "yell" at her and she then had to start crying so dramatically. She then went in her room. Later I was on the computer. She came to me and told me to get off the computer because I am not allowed to..whatever. I was kinda annoyed with her acting like she is my boss. Meanwhile she said that she was going to rip my picture that I drew for her. I spent over one hour drawing and coloring her a hand-drawn "Ed hardy" resemblance picture with her name instead of "ed hardy". She of course crimpled it and later ripped it. I w as pist off because I spent a long time drawing that and I thought it looked really nice. That was art and can not be replicated. So anyways, she comes out of her room and tells me off. She blames me for "ruining her birthday." I tolde her that she got all the presents and that she was the one who couldnt say thank you to her mom. I am so annoyed with the way kids act these days. They do not understand how grateful they really are! $200 is a lot for one person to get, especially considering that we are not rich or well-off (we are poor). She is a big brat and sulks whenever we tell her she misbehaves or that we are disappointed in her. Can anyone please help me overcome/deal with this stuck-up little girl? Here is what I do: I have an OCD (pretty bad one, where I get uncontrollable tremors and twitching and loss of breathing for periods of time). I really consider it a blessing though. It sure keeps all the wrong people away from me for all the right reasons. If a person really wants to be with you, he or she will view your condition only as a plus because it will give him or her the opportunity to get even closer to you. Be open about your condition. Is this one of the best forfeits?

I've used that as a forfeit before! It's perfectly harmless if it doesn't carry on too long. And it's a great forfeit especially for boys who often pretend they're not ticklish even though they are. For a 10 year old or something like that it 2-3 people should keep them still. The best spots to go for depend on the person although the soles of feet, ribs, underarms, sides and tummy are probably the best. But, the best spot that I've seen is probably the soles, just make sure they're bare and use fingernails and feathers to tickle. Have fun!

Need help in planning 8 day California trip?

Not trying to be mean, but your itinerary makes no sense. You need to pick a direction, either south to Southern California and LA or east to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Either way you can only make San Francisco your start and end points.....you can't come back on the middle and go again. If heading south do much of it on the PCH and see Montery, Carmel, Pismo Beach, Santa Barbara etc. It is truely spectacular and a must see. If you go to Yosemite they have some great overnight accomodations there where you can rent a tent and stay right in the park. Tahoe is very beautiful as well.

My 8yr old Boston has been loosing weight , . So my vet removed some teeth. now he said he has high liver enzymes. only thing I can do is give him supplements( name is: Pets Liquid Hepato),an it says it supports liver function, an retest in 30 days. Problem with UDP ports?

I tried to open UDP port so I could set up "counter-strike" server.I don't know if it's even needed,but I forwarded port I want to use(both UDP and TCP) just in case.I have no firewalls,I turned off windows native firewall too.But for some reason when I launch the program and try to see if the port is open canyouseeme.org shows "Connection refused".TCP ports(for torrents) work great.Any suggestions?
